Summer School

All Program 2 and 3 students who have not lost their right to attend the course during the academic year and meet the maximum portfolio grade determined by the administration “in both terms” may receive an optional 6-week course. Likewise, Program 1 students can attend the 7-week Summer Term Education. In order to participate in the Summer Term Education, the Portfolio Grade of Program 1 and Program 2 students must be at least 12 out of 20 in both terms (Fall and Spring terms); Program 3 students must have at least 15 out of 20. Program 4 students cannot participate in the Summer Term.

Summer Term Education is not a repetition of what is covered during the academic year. This program aims to progress students further in their own level.

YADYOK Summer Term Education dates for the 2022-2023 academic year are announced in the Academic Calendar approved by the Boğaziçi University Senate.

It is not possible for students who do not meet the Summer Term Education participation requirements to attend the summer term classes. There is a requirement to attend classes during the Summer Term Education. Students who exceed the absenteeism limit set by the YADYOK Administration lose their right to attend classes.
